Art of finding chord with your “Higher Self”!
The human tendency is shaped in such a way that it is always on the lookout for reassurance that the decisions he/she makes every day are right. Do we ever think of whether we are on the right path in life? When the above notion tries to grip anyone, most of us try to find a chord with divine intervention. At the same time, others don’t know what “divine intervention” is all about. Do you know about “Higher Self”?
We may or may not be aware of the term “Higher Self”, which is believed to be “Wise & All-Knowing”. It exists in each one of us. There is no need for you to ponder about the literary meaning of this term whether you want to think to your higher guidance center or lightly. No matter which term best vibrates within you, it is critical for you to develop a relationship with that deep center of yours and learn to listen to its directions or guidance. I think that is an inner compass that exists in each one of us. When that compass goes off, our ships may sail off-track. This Higher center interacts closely with our heart and the intuition center. The information in the form of guidance we receive might come in the following ways:
1. We can visualize or see it happening in your imagination.
2. We can guess or sense the answer. It could be similar when we have the gut-feeling of something about our job, family, situation and other things that may not be right. Or when we come to a conclusion or 100% sure of something about without a doubt the correctness of something!
3. We may know the answer. Perhaps, we could be receiving the verbal communication or some specific words will be coming to our brain. Those words can be taken literally or symbolically whatever they may be, note them immediately.
Exercise to Get in Touch with Your Higher Self
To identify or date with this side of yourself, the first thing you can do is to go quiet or to enter into a meditative state. Get relaxed and allow your facial muscles to soften and clear your mind from all types of inappropriate thoughts.
Then, demand your higher self to showcase to yourself. In some way or the other, shape or form your wishes to come inside you. And then stop, as you allow them to appear. Try to find out which area of your body feels it or outside of yourself?
Sometimes, I get to know it is between your third eye that is intuition, and your chest region that is the heart. Then, sometimes I feel this guidance comes from above as the energy starts rushing up right over the head. Are you one of those persons who tend to apply your thinking brain a lot and do struggle with this phase? One of the methods to get away from this is to soften the eyes and drop focus slightly lower, which is out of your frontal mind.
Ask simple “Yes” or “No” questions. Do I like them? Is Sara (replace with your own name) my name? Do I prefer spinach? Should I wear the green shirt today?
How do these answers come and from where? Do these answers come up as the symbols of feelings, emotions, words, and so forth? Some of us experience this aspect of ourselves within our heart or some may be experiencing it in their third eye or some may be experiencing them in between. Even some of us could experience it outside the body. If you don’t experience them at all, don’t bother. Have patience, over time, you will!
Learning to know about the voice of your “Higher Self” and how it looks like, how it sounds and feels. Once you get in touch with this part of your inner soul, you should start asking questions on a daily basis.
Firstly, you avoid asking questions that you are biased or misguided or you have the preference. For example, you must be debating with your partner what places to visit in Mexico during vacation. My friend said,” San Miguel is amazing and that I would love to be there. As she pressing for this place, I was enticed to go there.” If I would ask my “Higher Self”, it would answer that I went in that particular direction because I was influenced by the thoughts and beliefs that I was already encountering. But in actual when I and my partner sat and thought about logistics and other factors, obviously, the answer was no. However, at times, our instinctive feeling of stimulation is a true sign of your mind’s “Yes” messaging.
Note the feelings of both the circumstances how do they feel. Over time, you will able to learn the difference between the feelings of respective situations. With the course of time and expertise, you will learn to become adept at sidelining your own biases, beliefs, and decisions and instill impartial and unbiased feelings while gaining such information. You will turn to become your own healer, and you tend to put your own self out of the way.
As you are finding a chord with this part of your inner-self, you will start trusting yourself and your decisions more. With the passage of time, it will improve your self-esteem and confidence regarding the choice you make in your life.
